I have had the honor of knowing
and photographing Savannah and her family
for a number of years now.
These images are from a session about
18 months ago.
Savannah, simply put, is gorgeous,
inside and out.
Her beautiful, thick blonde hair has been
her signature look for her entire life.
In December 2010,
Savannah announced to her parents
that she wanted to cut her hair
and donate it to Locks Of Love.
When her mom told me
what Savannah had decided to do
I wanted to let Savannah know
how proud I was of her.
So I did what I do best,
and took some pictures of Savannah
and her new hairdo!
Savannah's spirit and generosity
has inspired me.
I am offering
a free portrait to anyone
who donates their hair
to Locks Of Love.
I will take pictures before and after
the hair cut and document
the special occasion with a
free 8x10 for you.
I look forward to these sessions!

Kathryn, Your work is always so beautiful! I miss seeing you at school! Savannah is in my class this year and since I'm battling cancer myself, this was really touching to me.
